Motorhomes/Camper Vans: We welcome travelling visitors who enjoy the thrill of not booking their overnight stop ahead of time and prefer to just pitch up with their recreational vehicles or coach and horses! Our site has possibly one of the best views in the world!
Convenience: We’re conveniently situated on a busy crossroads, just outside Broughton-in-Furness on the A595, the gateway to the Western lakes. You can walk to the small market town’s butcher, baker, post-office, café or any of 3 traditional pubs from here in 10 minutes.....downhill!
Tourist Attractions: Major ‘Lake District’ tourist attractions include Coniston, Tarn Hows, Wastwater and Sca Fell Pike. Locally, we’re close to Cumbria Heavy Horses, Muncaster Castle and The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway.

We apply an additional ‘one-off’ service charge to each room booking when you bring your furry, four-legged friend with you due to the extra effort that is required to clean and sanitize our accommodation. We expect our human visitors to bring with them the necessary canine bedding and feeding equipment for man’s best friend and respectfully request that our other guests’ privacy and safety be respected.
